Design can help society navigate complex challenges by connecting human needs, technology and long-term development.

I co-initiated Design Forum Sweden to explore how design can contribute to Sweden’s future. Through conversations with more than 60 people across design, business, academia and the public sector, we investigated themes such as:

Design as a democratic capability
Human perspectives in technology and engineering
Collaboration across sectors
Making the value of design more visible

The initiative began as a website and a “what if” experiment designed to start a conversation. We are now exploring new formats for bringing more non-design voices into the discussion and developing the work beyond the website.
